The award-winning author, Matt Brown is BACK, with three HILARIOUS new novels jam-packed with aliens, zombies, killer vending machines and lots and lots of LAUGHS!

About the author

Matt Brown has worked as a radio producer, DJ and TV presenter, appearing on children's channel Nickelodeon and hosting shows including The Bigger Breakfast, Love Island Aftersun and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here Now!

About the books

Dreary Inkling Primary School is having a really bad time. Firstly, the Year Six talent show is nearly ruined when two aliens decide they want to blow up the whole world. Then, the school’s overnight residential takes a turn for the worse when an evil witch tries to turn all the pupils into mutant zombies. Thank goodness for Eric Doomsday, Vinnie Mumbles, Ian Iansson and Drishya Samode who are on hand to save the day.

About the event

During his high-energy, 30-minute event, Matt will talk about his Dreary Inkling books and why he LOVES to write about aliens, monsters and killer vending machines. Matt uses his books to inspire kids to come up with amazing characters and how to generate awesome ideas for their own stories. He'll also do a couple of incredible magic tricks. The event is perfect for KS2 Years 3-6.
